You can now sync your Gmail signature with Modash šŸš€ If your Gmail signature is set up, weā€™ll automatically pull it into Modashā€™s inbox. Super easy!

If you have not yet set up your signature, then follow these 4 steps below ā¬‡ļø

Steps to Sync Your Gmail Signature with Modash

  1. Log in to Gmail. Open your Gmail account and click the settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.

  2. Set Up or Edit Your Signature.

    1. Go to ā€œSee All Settingsā€ > General Tab > Signature section.

    2. Create a new signature or edit an existing one

  3. Define the Default Signature for New Emails.

    1. In the signature settings, youā€™ll see options to assign a default signature for new emails and replies/forwards.

    2. Make sure to select your signature under the ā€œFor New Emails Useā€ dropdown. This is the signature Modash will sync.

4. Once your default Gmail signature is set, enable it in your first email! Don't worryā€”you only have to do it once.

After that, we will automatically pull it and use it for new emails and replies in the Modash inbox. Yay šŸ„³

Things to Remember

  • We only use the Gmail signature set under ā€œFor New Emails Use.ā€

  • If you havenā€™t set a default signature in Gmail, Modash will not display one until you do.

  • If you tweak your signature later, just make sure itā€™s still the default so Modash stays in the loop.

  • The signature will be applied to all new and replied emails.

  • You can always remove your signature by clicking on the little pen in your emails.
