My inbox vs Team inbox
The Email section has two views you can toggle between:
My inbox - shows only your own email conversations with creators. This is your personal workspace for managing your active threads.
Team inbox - shows all email conversations sent by anyone on your team that have been shared. Use this to see what's been discussed with a creator before you reach out, or to take over a conversation when a teammate is away.
Your personal emails (those not linked to creators in Modash) never appear in the team inbox. Only conversations with creators are shared.
When you open any conversation, Modash shows the creator's profile in a sidebar alongside the email thread. This gives you instant access to:
Creator name, username, and profile picture (auto-matched from 350M+ profiles)
Engagement rate and follower count
Audience demographics
Notes and labels your team has added
Assigned team member
Campaign history and relationship status
This means you can reply with full context without switching tabs, even if you've never interacted with this creator before. Modash automatically matches incoming emails to creator profiles, so you'll know exactly who you're talking to.
Pro tip: Your replies always come from the email address you connected to Modash (Gmail or Outlook).
Filtering and finding conversations
Use filters to cut through the noise and find exactly what you need:
By status - filter conversations by labels like "Interested", "Negotiating", or any custom status you've set
By list or campaign - show only conversations with creators who are in your lists or campaigns, and filter out everyone else
By search - find specific creators or conversations quickly
Combine filters to build powerful views. For example, filter to "My inbox" + "Interested" status to see every creator waiting for your follow-up.
Connecting creators to conversations
Modash automatically matches email conversations to creator profiles based on email addresses. In most cases, the right creator will appear in the sidebar without any action from you.
If a conversation isn't automatically linked (for example, when a creator emails from an unfamiliar personal address), you can manually connect a creator to the thread from the sidebar. You can also disconnect a creator if the automatic match isn't right.
This is especially useful for agencies or management companies that share email addresses across multiple creators.
Handling team handoffs
When someone on your team goes on holiday or leaves, their creator conversations stay in the shared inbox. You can:
View their full conversation history with any creator
Reply directly from the team inbox (the reply comes from your own email address)
Pick up negotiations exactly where they left off, with complete context
No forwarded emails, no lost threads, no gaps in the relationship.
Two-way email sync
Everything syncs both ways between Modash and your email client. Emails you send from Modash appear in your Gmail or Outlook sent folder. Replies from creators show up in both Modash and your regular inbox. When you first connect your email, Modash syncs your most recent month of email history so existing conversations appear right away.

How far back does email history sync?
When you first connect your email, Modash syncs your most recent month of email history. After that, all new emails sync in real time.
