User roles in Modash
Every Modash plan lets you add teammates. There are two roles:
Team Owner - Full control over the workspace, including billing, team management, and all platform features.
Teammate - Instant access to every creator list, campaign, conversation, and integration your team has built. Teammates jump straight into the action without needing admin controls.
Team Owners have complete access to everything in Modash:
Manage subscription plans and billing
Add and remove team members
Access all creator lists, campaigns, and data
Change workspace settings
View and download invoices
Cancel the subscription
Teammates can use all core features but have limited administrative access.
Teammates can't:
Change the subscription plan
Access billing information or invoices
Remove other users from the workspace
Cancel the subscription
Inviting team members
Here's how to add someone to your Modash workspace:
Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
Select Manage team members.
Click Invite new members.
Enter their email address.
Click Send invite.
They'll receive an email with instructions to join your workspace.
⚠️ If the person you're inviting already has an active Modash account or trial, they'll need to confirm that data from their previous account will be erased.
Removing teammates
If you need to remove someone from your workspace:
Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
Select Manage team members.
Find the user you want to remove.
Click Remove next to their name.
Only Team Owners can remove users. When you remove someone, they lose access immediately, but all their lists, campaigns, and data stay in the workspace.
Transferring team ownership
If you need to transfer team ownership to another user, reach out to the Modash support team through the chat bubble or email hello@modash.io.
Team collaboration
This is where Modash really shines. The moment your team joins, everyone works from the same shared workspace:
Creator lists - build them together, no duplicates
Campaigns - track performance as a team in real time
Email templates and sequences - share your best-performing outreach
Shopify integrations - everyone sees order and sales data
Affiliate programs - manage commissions and payouts collaboratively
One person discovers a creator in Discover, another adds them to a list in Manage, someone else sends outreach from Email, and the whole team tracks results in Track. No handoff emails, no "can you send me that spreadsheet" messages. Just one workspace, one source of truth.

How many team members can I add?
The number of seats depends on your subscription plan. Check your plan details in Account Settings > Billing.
Can Teammates update billing information?
No. Only Team Owners can change billing, and payment methods
Can I invite someone who's already on another Modash team?
A user can only be part of one team at a time. They'll need to be removed from their current team before joining yours.
What happens to someone's work when I remove them?
Their lists, campaigns, and data stay in the workspace.
Can I have multiple Team Owners?
No. You can only have one team owner per account.
Can I transfer team ownership?
Yes. Reach out to Modash support through the chat bubble or email hello@modash.io to transfer ownership.
Can I downgrade my plan if I have extra team members?
You'll need to remove team members first before downgrading to a plan with fewer seats.
Will removed users get notified?
Modash doesn't send an automatic notification. It's best practice to let them know directly.
