Personalising outreach at scale

What if you could email hundreds of creators and every single message felt personal? With dynamic variables, Modash automatically populates each email with the creator's name, username, and campaign details. Bulk efficiency, personal touch.

How to personalise at scale

  1. Open a list in Manage and select the creators you want to email.

  2. Click Send email at the top of the list.

  3. Choose an existing template or write your message from scratch.

  4. Click Insert Variable to add personalisation. Available variables include:

    • {First Name} - the creator's first name (automatically cleaned of emojis and special characters)

    • {Username} - their social media handle

    • {Email} - their email address

    • {Platform} - the platform where you found them (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

    • {Discount Code} - a unique discount code assigned to them

    • {Tracking Link} - a custom tracking link for their campaign

    • {Product Offer} - their assigned product offer link

  5. Write your email so variables fit naturally into sentences. For example: "Hi {First Name}, I loved your recent content on {Platform} and think you'd be a great fit for our brand."

  6. Review and send. Modash populates each variable with the correct details for every creator.

Pro tip: Modash automatically cleans creator names by removing emojis and special characters, so every email starts professionally - "Hey Sarah" instead of "Hey ๐ŸŒŸSarahโœจ๐Ÿ’•".

While composing emails, you can view each creator's full profile in a sidebar panel without leaving the email composer. This gives you quick access to:

  • Engagement rate and follower count

  • Audience demographics and top countries

  • Past brand collaborations

  • Notes and labels your team has added

Use this context to add personal touches beyond variables. Mentioning a specific post or audience insight makes your outreach stand out from generic pitches.

Daily sending limits

Modash uses three separate daily limits for bulk emails to keep your outreach flowing smoothly:

  • New outreach emails - up to 100 per day. This is your cap for emailing new creators. Even if your follow-up queue is packed, you can always send 100 new outreach emails.

  • Follow-up emails - up to 300 per day. These are the second, third, fourth (and beyond) emails in a sequence. Capped separately so they never block new outreach.

  • Total daily cap - 400 bulk emails (new + follow-ups combined). This is the absolute ceiling per connected email account.

Bulk emails are sent with a 5-second delay between each message to protect your domain reputation. Regular one-off emails sent from your inbox are not affected by these limits. If you have multiple team members with connected accounts, each person has their own daily limits.

FAQs

  • How many personalised emails can I send per day?

You can send up to 100 new outreach emails and up to 300 follow-up emails per day per connected email account, with a total daily cap of 400 bulk emails. New outreach is never blocked by follow-up volume. Regular one-off emails from your inbox don't count toward these limits. Each teammate with a connected account has their own separate limits.

  • Why is there a delay between when my emails are sent out?

Bulk emails are sent with a 5-second delay between each message, while sequence follow-ups are spaced out at 5-minute intervals. This staggered sending protects your domain reputation and significantly reduces the chance of your emails landing in spam folders.

  • What happens if a variable is blank for a creator?

If a field is empty (like if a creator doesn't have a public first name), Modash will leave that variable blank in the email. Always preview before sending to catch any gaps.

  • Does Modash clean creator names automatically?

Yes. Modash removes emojis, special characters, and extra formatting from names so your emails look professional and natural.

  • Can I add campaign-specific details to templates?

Yes. Use variables like {Discount Code}, {Tracking Link}, or {Product Offer} to include details unique to each creator. These pull from whatever you've assigned to that creator in their profile or campaign.
