Creating email templates

What if you could reach 200 creators this week with emails that each feel handwritten? That's exactly what templates do. Build your perfect outreach message once, drop in dynamic variables, and Modash handles the rest. Every email lands feeling personal - but you only wrote it once.

How to create a template:

  1. Go to Email in the sidebar and select Templates.

  2. Give your template a clear name (e.g., "Gifting Outreach - Instagram Micro").

  3. Add a subject line.

  4. Write your email content in the editor.

  5. Click Insert Variable to add dynamic variables like {First Name}, {Username}, {Tracking Link}, or {Discount Code}.

  6. Format your text using bold, italic, or lists to make it easy to read.

  7. Click Save.

Using your templates

Select a template from the dropdown when composing an email, and Modash instantly fills in every variable with each creator's details. What used to take hours of copy-pasting now takes seconds.

You can edit templates at any time. Updated templates apply to future emails, but anything you've already sent or scheduled stays as-is.

Use templates everywhere

Templates plug into every part of your email workflow. Send bulk emails from your creator lists in Manage, or pair them with automated sequences that follow up while you sleep.

Pro tip: Writing the perfect email to a creator? Click Save as template to save it on the spot. Your best messages become reusable in one click - no need to recreate them from scratch later.

FAQs

  • Can I create multiple templates?

Yes! Create as many as you need for different outreach campaigns, creator segments, or stages of your workflow. The more templates you have ready, the faster you move.

  • What variables can I use in templates?

    You can use {First Name}, {Username}, {Email}, {Discount Code}, {Tracking Link}, and custom campaign details.

  • Can I edit a template after I've used it?

Yes. Changes apply to future emails, but anything you've already sent or scheduled won't be affected.

  • Do I have to use variables in my templates?

No, but you'll want to. Variables are what make bulk outreach feel personal - and that's what gets replies.

  • Can I save an email I'm writing as a template?

Yes. Click Save as template while composing any email, and it becomes reusable instantly.
