Event Mode was designed to support large-scale campaigns and events where influencers may not tag every post, mention your brand, or use campaign-specific hashtags. With Event Mode, you can still capture and track all the content creators share, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Why use Event Mode?
For major events or milestones—like product launches, brand activations, or influencer trips—not every post will include the right tags. Event Mode ensures you don’t miss valuable content, even if creators forget to tag you!
Collect all content posted by your selected influencers, regardless of tags, mentions, etc.
Manually select which posts to keep in your campaign and analyze.
Best use cases
🚀 Influencer events & brand activations – Capture behind-the-scenes stories, live coverage, and posts that might not be tagged.
🎉 Product launches – Ensure all content related to your launch is tracked, even if creators miss a hashtag or mention.
📢 Large-scale campaigns – When managing multiple influencers, Event Mode gives you control over content selection.
In Event Mode, each influencer is counted twice instead of once. This means your campaign limits will adjust accordingly to reflect this change.
How to enable Event Mode
Step 1: Go to the Monitoring Tab and create a new campaign.
Step 2: When setting up content tracking, enable Event Mode.
Step 3: Select the influencers whose content you want to track. Modash will collect all content from these creators—tagged or not!
Step 4: Review and manually approve the posts you want to keep in your campaign.
Once a campaign is live, its type cannot be changed—you can’t switch a regular campaign to Event Mode or vice versa.
How to add content to your campaign
The key technical difference in an Event Mode campaign is the extra "Event Mode" tab in your dashboard. This is where all collected content appears—since posts aren’t automatically added to your campaign, you’ll need to manually select which ones you want to analyze.
How to Select Content:
Click the ➕ button on individual posts to add them.
Select multiple pieces by using Ctrl + click (or Cmd + click on Mac).
Use Shift + click to select a range.
Click and drag to highlight multiple posts at once.
Everything else works as normal!
