Modash automatically collects creator content based on your campaign hashtags, mentions, and tags. But sometimes a post slips through - maybe the creator forgot to tag your brand, or the content was posted before the campaign started. The Import content feature lets you add any missing posts directly to your campaign so your data stays complete and your reports tell the full story.
What you can import
Instagram: Posts, Reels, and active Stories. Story highlights can't be imported - only Stories that are currently live.
TikTok: All existing content, including videos
YouTube: All existing content, including videos
How to import missing content
Open Track and select the campaign where content is missing.
Click on the Content tab within your campaign dashboard.
Click Import content on the right side.
Paste the URL of the missing post.
Click Import content to confirm.
Once imported, the content appears in your campaign feed and is included in all your reports and analytics.
Pro tip: If the creator isn't already part of your campaign, they'll be added automatically when you import their content. No extra steps needed.
When to use it
A creator posted about your brand but forgot to use the required hashtag or mention
Content was published before the campaign start date
A post didn't get picked up by automatic tracking for any reason
You need a specific piece of content reflected in your campaign reporting right away
Good to know
Instagram Stories expire: Stories disappear after 24 hours. If a Story has already expired, it can't be imported. Act quickly if you notice a missing Story.
Content metrics are tracked: Once imported, Modash tracks the content's performance (views, likes, engagement) just like any other campaign content.
Event Mode is an alternative: If you find yourself importing content often because creators forget tags, consider turning on Event Mode. It captures everything your creators post during a campaign - no tags required.
