Setting up brand mentions
Getting started takes less than a minute:
Go to Manage and open Brand mentions.
Add your brand's @handles and #hashtags that creators use when posting about you.
Modash starts collecting matching posts immediately for your first setup.
After your initial setup, Modash collects new posts daily at 22:00 CET. If you change your handles or hashtags later, updated results appear the next day.

What brand mentions shows you
Every post in your feed is checked by AI to make sure it's actually about your brand. Irrelevant content is filtered out automatically, so you're not wading through noise.
For each post, you'll see:
The creator's profile and content
Sentiment analysis on every post
Whether the post is sponsored (detected from #ad, "Anzeige," and other ad disclosures). Sponsored posts are hidden by default so you can focus on organic mentions
Platform (Instagram or TikTok)

Brand mentions comes with powerful filters to zero in on the creators that matter most:
Content view vs Creator view - switch between seeing individual posts or a grouped view by creator
Country or US state - find creators mentioning your brand in specific markets
All time - view your entire mention history, not just recent posts
Caption keywords - search within post captions for specific topics
Media type - filter by content format
Sponsored/organic - show or hide sponsored content

Limits and availability
Brand mentions is available on all plans, including free trials:
Paid plans: Up to 350 new mention posts per week (resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC). Once the cap is reached, new posts stop being added until the following week.
Free trials: A one-time preview of your first 50 brand mentions. After that, an upgrade prompt appears.

How often does the brand mentions feed update?
Modash collects new posts daily at 22:00 CET (UTC+1). Your very first setup shows results right away.
Why does my feed say "no content found"?
If you just changed your handles or hashtags, results will appear the next day after the overnight collection. Only the very first setup for your account loads instantly.
How does Modash know if a post is actually about my brand?
An AI model checks every collected post for relevance and filters out content that isn't genuinely about your brand.
Can I find creators who mention my brand without using a hashtag or handle?
Not yet. Brand mentions currently requires @handles or #hashtags as triggers. Plain text brand name detection is not available.
Does this work on YouTube?
Not yet. Brand mentions currently supports Instagram and TikTok.
What counts toward my weekly mention limit?
Each new post that Modash analyses counts toward your weekly limit of 350 (paid plans). The limit resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
Can I see how creators feel about my brand?
Yes. Every post includes a sentiment indicator so you can quickly spot positive, neutral, or negative mentions.
