Your payment balance is the engine behind every creator payout in Modash. Fund it once, and you're ready to process fixed fee payouts and affiliate commissions - all without managing hundreds of individual payments yourself. Don't let an empty balance slow down your creator relationships!

How to top up your balance

To add funds, contact your Success Manager or reach out to support via in-app chat or hello@modash.io.

Here's how the process works:

  1. Let your Success Manager or support team know the amount you'd like to add.

  2. Modash sends you a proforma invoice for the top-up amount.

  3. Complete the bank transfer using the details on your invoice.

  4. Once the payment clears, your balance is updated and visible in the app.

Bank transfers typically take 1-3 business days, depending on your bank and currency.

Supported currencies

Your payment balance can be held in:

  • USD (US Dollars)

  • GBP (British Pounds)

  • EUR (Euros)

Your balance currency is set when your payment workspace is configured. This is also the currency you'll use to pay creators.

πŸ’° Payments are converted to the currency of your creators bank at the time their payment is processed. They will pay no conversion fees.

Checking your balance

Head to Pay to see your balance at a glance:

  • Current available funds

  • Funds in transit

  • Total spent

Full transparency - you'll always know exactly where your money stands, down to the cent.

Low balance notifications

Modash notifies you when your balance isn't enough to cover upcoming payments. Keep your balance topped up so your creators can get paid as quickly as possible.

Your balance powers everything in Pay. Fixed fees, affiliate commissions, and product gifting payouts all flow through the same pipeline.

    Contact your Success Manager for details on minimum top-up amounts for your specific setup.

  • What happens if my balance runs out mid-payment cycle?

    Payments that can't be processed due to insufficient funds will be held until you top up. Creators will see their payment as pending.

  • Can I get a refund on unused balance?

    Yes! Your top-up is fully refundable. Contact your Success Manager or hello@modash.io to arrange a return, as long as there are no outstanding payments.

  • Do I receive an invoice for my top-up?

    Yes. Modash sends you a proforma invoice for each top-up, so you have full documentation for your records.
