Fixed fee payments let you pay creators a set amount for deliverables like sponsored posts, campaign participation, or any agreed-upon work. You create the payment, the creator uploads their invoice, and Modash handles the rest - including compliance, currency conversion, and direct bank transfers to the creator.
Before you start
Make sure your payment balance is funded. All creator payouts come from your Modash balance.
How to create a fixed fee payment
Go to Pay in the left sidebar.
Click the New payment button.
Fill in the payment details:
Platform - where the creator provided the work (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Username - the creator's handle (e.g. @modash)
Email - the creator's email address for payment notifications
Amount and currency - the agreed payment amount
Description - a brief note on the deliverables (e.g. "2x Instagram Reels - January campaign")
Contract - attach the PDF contract or a screenshot of the agreement
Check the confirmation box to verify the details are correct.
Click Save payment.
Sending the payment link
After saving, you'll see an option to send the payment link to the creator. This link takes the creator to their Modash dashboard where they can review the payment details and upload their invoice.
What happens next
Once you've created the payment, here's the flow:
Payment created - you've submitted the payment with all the details and contract
Invoice uploaded - the creator reviews and uploads their invoice through their Modash dashboard
In processing - Modash reviews the invoice and payment details
Payment sent - everything checks out and the payment is sent directly to the creator's bank account
Fixed fee payments are processed daily, Monday to Friday. There are no hold periods - once the invoice is uploaded and reviewed, the payment goes out quickly.
Pro tip: Creators can enable automatic invoicing so they don't need to manually upload an invoice for every payment. They add their details once, and invoices are generated automatically for future payouts.
Tracking your payments
All your payments are visible in Pay. Click on any transaction to see its full details, current status, and timeline. You can filter by creator, date, or status to find exactly what you're looking for.
Good to know
Creators don't need to be in a campaign. You can pay any creator, whether or not they're part of an active campaign in Track.
Payments go to the creator's bank account in their local currency. Modash handles the currency conversion with no fees for the creator.
One balance, all payouts. Fixed fees, and affiliate commissions both come from the same Modash balance.
Modash handles compliance. Invoice review, and payment processing are all managed by Modash.
