Forget chasing W9s, W8s, and 1099 forms. Because Modash is an Estonian entity, creator payments follow EU VAT rules - which means way less paperwork for you. Modash handles the tax compliance so you can focus on running campaigns, not accounting.

VAT requirements by creator location

When creators invoice for their payments, VAT requirements depend on where they're based:

  • EU-based creators need to include their VAT ID, Personal Tax ID, or a note stating "Not VAT Liable" on their invoice. EU-based creators should not include a VAT amount.

  • Estonia-based creators need to include their VAT or Personal Tax ID. Estonia-based creators should include a VAT amount on their invoice (currently 24%).

  • Non-EU creators do not need to include a VAT or Personal Tax ID. Non-EU creators should not include a VAT amount on their invoice.

Invoice requirements

All creator invoices must be billed to:

  • Name: Modash OÜ

  • Address: Aia tn 10a-9, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia

  • VAT ID: EE102111318

Creators must upload invoices to receive their payments. Modash provides clear guidance to help creators ensure their invoices meet all requirements.

Creators don't need to be business entities to create invoices. This works for creators of all sizes.

Automatic invoicing

Creators can enable automatic invoicing so they don't need to manually upload invoices for every payout. They add their details once, and invoices are generated automatically.

If they prefer manual control, they can review each payout and generate a compliant invoice with a single click.

Accessing payment records

Everything you need is in one place. Go to Pay, filter by creator or time period, and export payment information in bulk. Clean records, zero hassle.

Pro tip: For creators looking for guidance on tax documentation, share the Creator Taxation Help Center with them. It walks them through exactly what to include on their invoices.
