Modash Discovery API

All of the following changes are reflected in our API Docs

New in Report endpoint responses

  • Engagement rate distribution - Available for all platforms.
This is an excellent way to compare the ER of one creator to other creators with similar follower ranges.

  • Fake followers (credibility) distribution - Only available for Instagram.
Similar to the ER distribution, this is useful for comparing the fake follower rate of one creator to other creators with similar follower ranges.

    Here's an example from Modash.

  • Audience Type data - Only available for Instagram.
This is useful data to better understand any given influencer’s audience breakdown. It covers both Fake followers & Audience Credibility.

Fake followers are split into Bots and fakes and suspicious mass followers, while audience credibility covers real people, influencers, and mass followers.

This is how it looks live in Modash.

  • Audience reachability - Only available for TikTok and Instagram.
This data helps marketers and other users answer: How many accounts do the followers of this creator follow?

The reasoning is that the fewer accounts someone follows, the more likely they’ll see a piece of content. When an influencer’s total audience follows fewer accounts, it’s more likely you’ll reach this audience.

It looks like this in Modash.

New filters

  • hasSponsoredPosts filter for Instagram

  • bio filter for YouTube

  • isOfficialArtist filter for YouTube

  • viewsGrowthRate filter for YouTube - Views growth indicates the increase in influencer’s video views over time, reflecting audience engagement and content popularity. The steady growth of views over time is a strong indicator of an influencer’s ability to effectively engage their current following and attract a new audience.

  • shares filter for TikTok - The number of shares signals that a creator has huge potential to go viral.

  • saves filter for TikTok - When someone saves a TikTok, it's a sign they want to re-watch it again later. This signals that the content is evergreen and will provide value repeatedly. Typical examples of content that is often saved for later are recipes, tutorials, and product recommendations.

  • likesGrowthRate filter for TikTok - Likes growth refers to the increase in the number of people who like an influencer’s content over a specific period. The steady growth of likes over time strongly signals that influencers can effectively engage their audience.
