Why ER matters
In the past, follower count was a reliable way to estimate reach—creators’ content was primarily shown to their followers. But today, discovery happens through recommendations, like TikTok’s For You page or Instagram’s Explore feed. That’s why views are now a better indicator of reach than just follower numbers.
If an influencer hides their likes, Modash won’t be able to display an accurate engagement rate.
