Monitoring watches your partnerships for you on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. It automatically collects all of your content, measures the engagements, and helps you track which influencers have posted. You can set up your campaign in less than 2 minutes with a few easy steps ๐Ÿ‘‡

Step 1: Navigate to the Monitoring tab in Modash and click the "New Campaign" button.

Step 2: Name your campaign and choose a platform.

Step 3: Add tracking tags

Tracking tags are the information Modash looks for to determine that a piece of content is a part of your campaign (rather than a normal post from the influencer). We look at a few different kinds of indicators depending on the channel.

Hashtags:
If the influencer posts any one of the indicated hashtags in the post or story, we will collect it as part of your campaign.

Mentions:
If the influencer writes any one of the @mentions in the caption / description of a piece of content we will collect it as part of your campaign.

Tags (only available for Instagram):
If the influencer tags any one of the indicated accounts as part of the content, we will collect it.

A tag is not an @mention in a caption/description. It is applied to the image itself.

See the image below for an example.

Keywords:

If the influencer has at least one keyword you enter in their content, we will collect it.

Title (only available for YouTube):

We will collect all content pieces with the words you input in the title of their video.

Description (only available for YouTube):

We determine the content piece by what they have written in the video's description.

Modash will collect all content with any 1 of the tracking tags you have indicated. The creator doesn't need to use all of the indicators.

After adding tracking tags, you will see two remaining checkboxes at the bottom of the page. They are explained below.

Mandatory hashtags, mentions, and tags:

In Monitoring, we collect all content for you, even if it's missing a mandatory tag or mention. We alert you if something has gone wrong with the content if you choose to check this box.

When we collect the content, we will check if ALL of the hashtags and mentions, and tags are present. If not, you will see an error message like this:

Mandatory ad disclosure:

Like the example above, you may want influencers to disclose that the post is an advertisement. If you click this checkbox when setting up your campaign, we will alert you when a published post doesn't include an ad disclosure.

Event mode:

If you choose Event Mode, you do not need to add any tracking tags. We will capture all the content the creators post and you can choose which content you like to keep in the campaign.

Step 4: Add a start date.

The last step is a simple one. Choose the date from which you would like to start collecting content.

To choose a date, click the box indicating a start date and choose the one you prefer. Your start date may be up to 6 days in the past.

Step 5: Add influencers to your campaign. You can choose one of three options.

  1. You can import influencers from a CSV (spreadsheet).

  2. You can import influencers from an influencer list you have created in Modash.

  3. You can manually add influencers one by one by providing their @username

The easiest way is to build a list on the influencer discovery page and then choose the "select a list" option to easily move that list to Monitoring.

Once you have chosen an input, click "Start campaign' and you're done โœ…

Bonus step!

If at any point you need to change something in your campaign, like add or remove creators, you can easily do it by clicking on edit campaign. You can also add or remove additional triggers.

And voilร ! You just created your campaign and made your life much easier ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Modash checks for content approximately every 12 hours
